If you ordered a product, but need to return it, or speak with customer service, appropriate phone numbers can be difficult to locate.  Thanks to www.clicheideas.com and www.paulenglish.com, phone numbers to Amazon, ebay and many other vendors can be obtained by visiting http://clicheideas.com/amazon.htm#ebay and http://www.paulenglish.com/ivr/  . 

 

Mapping

Do you need help finding the location of a holiday party?  Here are 2 useful sites. 

www.terraserver.microsoft.com  and http://maps.yahoo.com/ 

 

Locating people

Are you searching for a long lost friend or relative to whom you want to send a holiday card?  Here are 3 sites?  www.anywho.com , www.switchboard.com and www.reversephonedirectory.com  .  Anywho has a useful “reverse lookup” feature; if you know the phone #, you discover to whom the phone # is registered. 

 

If you are concerned about your privacy and don’t want to be listed in Google’s collection [ database ] of names & numbers, you can ask Google to remove your information from Google’s database.  http://www.google.com/webmasters/remove.html

Zabasearch [ www.zabasearch.com ] is a web site that attempts to locate information on people

[ including you and me ] by searching through public information.  This public information is provided by our local, state & federal governments.  An independent review of Zabasearch can be found at:  http://www.zabasearch.com/about_us.php  .
